A great winter time soup. It's hearty enough to be a full meal if paired with a salad.

Ingredients

    2 cups diced Potato
    2 cups Carrot
    1 T Pre-cooked Bacon
    14 oz Package Hillshire Farm Turkey Smoked Sausage,
    2 medium chopped Onions
    1.5 cup Celery, diced, stalks and leaves
    3.5 cup Split Peas, Green, Dried
    5 Chicken Bouillion Cubes
    Several Dashes of White Pepper
    2 light Dashes of Beau Monde

Directions

Combine onions, sausage, bacon salt, peppers and beau monde in pot and brown till a glaze forms.

Add 4 Liters of water and the rest of the ingredients. Simmer till thick and vegetables are done.
