Chili w beef and turkey.. Chili w beef and turkey..
Number of Servings: 6


    1 lb 96/4 ground beef
    1 package 99% ground turkey (usually bout 1.33lb)
    1 tbsp fresh garlic
    1 lg red bell pepper, chopped
    1 lg green bell pepper, choppped
    1 med onion, chopped
    1 (14.5 oz) can diced (no salt) tomatoes
    1 (8 oz) can hunts no salt added tomato sauce
    1/2 cup green mountain gringo hot salsa
    2 tbsp chili powder
    1 tbsp cumin
    1/2 habanero pepper , minced


makes 6 1 cup servings

1. cook both meats w garlic breaking apart well, until browned. drain. Return to burner, add peppers and onion.
cook until veggies are tender and softend.

2. add chili powder, cumin, cinnamon , stir to coat

3. add in tomatoes and tomatoe sauce. stir well. add habanero and salsa.
(if very thick add water, 1 cup at a time..)

4. cover and simmer for approx 30 min

add fresh cilantro .. serve.
