Introduction

I make a batch of this once a week with different flavoring items, cilantro, roasted red peppers, roasted garlic or anything else that strikes my fancy. I save the juice from one of the cans instead of using olive oil if I want a lower calorie version of this snack. Great with cucumbers slices, carrot sticks, pita bread, veggie sandwich, or anywhere else that you like hummus. Ingredients

    - 2 cans of garbonzo beans
    - Save water from one can and add
    - 1 bunch of cilantro
    - Garlic power or 3 garlic gloves
    - 1 tsp cumin
    - Salt & pepper to taste
    - Cayenne pepper if you want some heat
    - Oil is also optional instead of the water (more calories)
    - Tahini can also be added for flavor
