Number of Servings: 6


    1 pound ground turkey 93% lean
    1 C. raw onions, chopped
    1 C. beef broth
    8 oz tomato sauce
    garlic - 2 cloves pressed
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp black pepper
    1 tsp dried marjoram
    1/2 tsp celery seed
    2 T. worchestershire sauce
    1/2 C. Red wine ( like merlot or cabernet)
    5 C. Green beans(snap)
    4 C. boiled potatoes mashed
    1/2 C. chicken broth
    3 cloves or garlic, pressed
    1/2 C. Low fat chedder cheese


Brown ground turkey and onion until cooked in a non stick skillet, sprayed with cooking spray. Add remaining ingredients, except potatoes. Simmer until most of the liquid is reduced. Pour into a 9 X 13 pan sprayed with cooking spray. Mash the potatoes with the chicken broth. Spread the potatoes over the top of the meat mixture. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Remove and top with 1/2 C. Cheese. Return to the oven until cheese is melted and bubbly. Cut into 6 servings.
