Number of Servings: 4


    3 cups Water
    1 cup Non fat milk
    1 cup Steel cut Oats
    1 tsp Nutmeg, ground (or to taste)
    1 tsp Cinnamon, ground (or to taste)
    1/2 tsp Ground cloves (or to taste)


In a slow cooker add water and 1 cup of Nonfat milk. Add 1 cup of steel cut oats, spices (Try adding ginger or pumpkin spice, or even apple pie spice) Stir a couple times, cover with the lid and set it on low. Eight (8) hours later you have creamy hot bowl of porage. Just make sure when you go for a walk your doors are locked because the bears will be all over this. Makes 4 cups of cooked Oats. Serving size is 1/2 cup.
