Never had leeks or turnips but this stew is incredible. Never had leeks or turnips but this stew is incredible.
Number of Servings: 8


    1-2 lbs Pork Roast (or chops) with some fat
    3 Onions
    3 Leeks (whites)
    3 Turnips
    3 Carrots
    3 Celery Stalks
    3 Potatoes
    1 lb. Brussel Sprouts - or green cabbage
    1 Small can white beans - rinsed
    4 bullion cubes
    1 Tbsp Pepper
    2 Cups Water
    2 Tbsp Butter


Cut pork into bite size pieces
Melt butter in frying pan, add pork and brown.
In a slow cooker or large pan, add carrots, onions, celery.
Cook on low for 1 hour.
Add leeks, turnips, potatoes and sprouts or cabbage
Cook for another hour on low.
Add beans and cook for another few minutes.
