Introduction

Yummy - thick, rich, SO good on toast! Yummy - thick, rich, SO good on toast!
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    Almonds, 2 cup, whole
    Maple Syrup, 3 tbsp
    *Molasses, blackstrap, 1.5 tbsp
    Cinnamon, ground, 2 tsp
    Ginger, ground, .25 tsp
    Nutmeg, ground, .12 tsp
    Salt, .5 tsp
    *Canola Oil, 1.5 tbsp

Directions

Preheat Oven to 300
Spread almonds on parchment paper, on a baking sheet
Pour on 2T Maple Syrup and 1T Molasses, stir
Roast for 20-30 minutes, stirring once every 10 minutes
Take out of the oven and let cool for about 30 minutes
Dump into your food processor and turn on
Process (and scrape bowl as needed) until it butterizes (apx 10-15 minutes)
Add in .5 T Molasses, 1T Maple Syrup, 1.5 T Oil, all spices and salt.
Process again until smooth and blended (apx 5 minutes).

Makes apx 8oz
(1T per serving)
