    Black-eyed peas (cowpeas), immature seeds, cooked, boiled, drained, without salt, 2 Cup (remove)
    Chicken stock, home-prepared, 8 cup (remove)
    Bay Leaf, 1 tbsp, crumbled (remove)
    Pepper, black, 1 tbsp (remove)
    Kosher Salt - Diamond, 0.25 tsp (remove)
    Cured Ham, 1 cup (remove)
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)
    Bacon Oscar Meyer Low Sodium, 2 serving (remove)
    1 tsp emerils seasoning.


brown the bacon

remove from pan and drain the fat.
add the onion cook until softened.
add the rest of the ingredients and all to cook for 90 minutes at a slow simmer until the black eyed peas are softened.

should make 16 or more 1/2 cups of black eyed peas
