Introduction

Quick and Easy for lunch - make a whole tray and break it up into seven portions Quick and Easy for lunch - make a whole tray and break it up into seven portions
Number of Servings: 7

Ingredients

1 Box Barilla Whole Wheat Penne
1 Can Tuna Fish in water
1 Can Low Sodium Cream of Mushroom soup
1/4 Cup Progresso (or similar) Italian Bread Crumbs

Directions

1. Boil the pasta according the box suggestions. While the pasta is cooking drain the tuna and heat the oven to 350.
2. Drain the pasta well, then use the same pot to mix the pasta, tuna and mushroom soup.
3, Transfer mixture to an baking pan, sprinkle top with bread crumbs and bake for 15 minutes.

Divide into 7 portions for a quick on the go lunch that microwaves fast and tastes delicious.

** I do not salt the pasta water when making this recipe as it bumps up the sodium intake unnecessarily. There is enough "saltiness" in the mushroom soup, tuna and bread crumbs that it's just overkill in the pasta water **
