Ingredients

    I roasting chicken, cooked, skin and bones removed
    4 boxes Swanson chicken broth 99% fat free
    2 sticks Imperial margarine

    4 cups white flour
    3 eggs, beaten and water added
    1 tablespoon salt.

Directions

Remove skin and bones from roasted/cooked chicken. break into pieces. We cooked beer can chicken and use the left over chicken for this meal. or roast a chicken or rotisarie chickne.

heat in a large stock pot, the chicken broth, chicken pieces, stick margarine to almost boiling.

mix flour, eggs, salt and water to a soft dough

roll out dough on floured table, cut into square dumplings, drop into hot broth a couple at a time,
stir occasionally.
when all dumplings are in broth, cover pan and reduce heat, simmer for 20 min or longer.
serve hot.
will be thick broth, with a flat dumpling and chicken pieces.
