Introduction

I've been making this recipe (or a variation of it) nearly every Saturday morning for the last 9 years. I hope you like it as much as I and my family do! Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 Cup Milk
    1 Tbsp Vinegar
    1 tsp Vanilla
    .5 tbsp oil
    1 Egg
    1 Cup Flour (White or mixture of Whole Wheat and White)
    1/8 cup sugar
    1 tsp Baking Soda

Directions

Put milk in medium bowl and add vinegar
Let sit five minutes as you mix the dry ingredients

Mix dry ingredients in large bowl

Add egg, vanilla and oil to milk, stir briskly

Milk mixture to dry mixture and mix until batter is lumpy, not smooth (unless you like it smooth)

Heat griddle or frying pan Med-High to High

Spray with non-stick spray

Put 1/4 cup of batter per pancake

Cook to desired point (my kids like them really soft and
"doughy" in the middle but I like them cooked through)

Makes 8 Pancakes
