Ingredients

    1/2 cup cornmeal
    1/2 cup all-purpose flour
    3 tsp sugar
    2 tsp baking soda
    2 dashes salt
    1 egg
    1/2 cup milk
    1 tbsp canola oil
    1/2 cup frozen corn kernals, thawed

Directions

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Combine all dry ingredients, beat in egg, oil, milk, and corn. Spread batter in sprayed 6 inch iron skillet.
Makes 6 wedges.
