Introduction

I love breakfast rice. This is a healthier variation. It can be tweaked as you like. I used splenda. Seving size is 1 cup. Recipe calculated as I prepared it. I love breakfast rice. Ingredients

    1 cup Brown Rice
    1 cup Water
    1 tbs Splenda
    1 Egg
    1 cup 2% milk
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1/4 cup Raisins

Directions

Cook brown rice with cinnamon. As rice is setting, mix egg, milk, and vanilla. Add to rice, add raisins and splenda, cook on medium, stirring constantly for about 5 minutes or so. remove from heat. Serve warm. Makes three 1 cup servings
