Great for when the family is sick! Great for when the family is sick!
Number of Servings: 10


    1.25 lb of ground beef
    half an onion, diced
    3 cloves of garlic, minced
    a red or green pepper, cubed
    3 medium potatoes, cubed small
    as much carrot as you want, sliced and cubed to be small
    8 cups of water
    8 beef bullion cubes or whatever beef broth you use
    1 cup of frozen peas
    1 can of crushed tomatoes


Brown beef with garlic, onion and red or green pepper, then add everything else, bring to boil until potatoes and carrots are cooked.

This makes about 10 servings. I like it with parmasan and hot sauce, but that's how I like all my soups.
The fat is high, but of course drain off the fat, I only had 80% ground beef, so I calculated it as just "ground beef".
