Introduction

This recipe makes 32 One Cup servings of yogurt using raw milk. This recipe makes 32 One Cup servings of yogurt using raw milk.

Ingredients

    31 CupsRaw Milk (that's 1 C shy of a gallon)
    3/4 C + 2 T Starter (Dannon Low Fat Vanilla Yogurt)

Directions

Heat Raw Milk on just lower than medium heat until it reaches 110 degrees Fahrenheit. (use a candy thermometer)
Remove from heat.
Place 1/4 C starter in your glass gallon jar.
Add 1/2 C warm milk.
Stir.
Fill jar 3/4 full with warm milk.
Add another 1/2 C + 2 T starter (or a heaping 1/2 C) to jar.
Stir.
Top off with warm milk. (there will be some milk left which can be given to the cat ;-).
Put lid on glass jar and place in the oven with the light on.
Leave in over night, be sure loven light stays on.
Refrigerate.
Shake before serving.

I enjoy putting 5 C yogurt and 1 cup frozen fruit into the blender and making smoothies. Add a drop of stevia to each Cup to sweeten.
