    2/3 c. Whole Wheat Flour
    1/3 c. Quaker Quick Oats
    1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
    1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
    1 1/2 tsp. Sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. Unsweetened Applesauce
    1 c. Milk (nutritional info reflects 1%, but 2% or skim are perfectly fine)
    1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
    1/2 Banana - mashed


Makes 4 decent size pancakes but can easily be doubled.

Combine all the wet ingredients (including 1.5 tsp. applesauce & .5 banana-mashed) and add to the dry ingredients.

Pour onto pan heated over medium heat.

When bubbles appear on surface, flip. They seem to cook fairly quickly, so don't stray too far from the stove.

They can be a little bland on their own so slice up some strawberries and the remainder of the banana and add syrup, applesauce, or peanut butter to enhance the flavor.
