    4 cups water
    1 cup grits
    2 tablespoons Best Life butter
    3/4 c fat free half and half
    1 c 2% shredded cheddar cheese
    1 egg
    1 onion, chopped
    1 bag shrimp


makes 6 servings

Boil water ad grits stirring constantly until thickened. Add 1 tbsp butter and cheese. Combine egg and half and half. Add to grits. Bake at 350 for 40 to 45 min.

Saute 1tbsp butter and onion until onion is caramelized. add shrimp. Cook for about 5 minutes. Pour over top of grits. Serve
