Introduction

a quick alternative to stuffed peppers a quick alternative to stuffed peppers
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 pound lean ground turkey
    2 cups prepared brown rice
    1 jar Bertolli arrabbiata sauce (or any spagetti/marinara sauce you prefer but this has been the best we have tried!)
    3 tsp minced garlic
    4 oz shredded mozzarella cheese, part skim milk
    2 tsp onion powder

Directions

in a large skillet brown the ground turkey with the onion powder and minced garlic. Drain. Add the sauce and brown rice. Stir to combine. Pour into an oven safe dish and sprinkle cheese on top. Place in a 350 degree oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until cheese melts.

This is great with a salad as a side dish!
