Introduction

Best chili ever. Best chili ever.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    *2 lbs Ground Turkey Breast (the recipe is calculated with 8% fat, I use 1% fat...your choice)

    *2 cans of black beans, rinsed well

    *2 jars of salsa (chopped tomatoes can also be used)

    1 each, medium onion and bell pepper, chopped

    1 cup chopped celery

    1 pkg Reduced sodium chili seasoning
    1pkg Reduced fat taco seasoning

Directions

In a large stew pot, cook turkey breast until no pink shows.
Saute the onions, peppers and celery in a tsp of light cooking oil until soft.
Drain and rinse the black beans.

Once the meat is cooked, dump everything in the pot, add 2 cups of water and simmer till it tastes fantastic (and it will).

Optional suggestions:
+add brown rice for a heartier meal or to stretch it to serve 2 or 3 more.
+top withshredded cheese on top for the kids
+add well chopped spinach (they will never know)
+serve with wholegrain baked tortilla style chips or wholegrain crackers
