Introduction

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1.5 lb. ground beef
    .5 lb. ground hot Italian sausage
    1 onion, chopped
    1 garlic, minced
    1 lg. can diced tomatoes
    2 small cans Italian tomato paste
    16 oz. tomato sauce
    1 T. parsley
    1 . sugar
    2 t. salt
    2 t. sweet basil
    4 C. mozzarella cheese
    .5 C light sour cream
    9 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained.

Directions

Brown beef, sausage, onion and garlic and drain.

Add tomatoes and seasonings to meat and simmer one hour or longer.

Cook pasta according to directions, drain and lay on waxed paper to keep from sticking.

In 9 x 13 pan, layer noodles, sour cream, meat sauce, cheese. Repeat two more times.

Bake for 45-60 minutes at 350 degrees.
Makes 8 servings. Freezes well
