    Asparagus (cooked and pureed), .5 cup
    Country Crock, Shedd's Spread Country Crock Light (Soft), 10 Tbsp
    Splenda, 1 cup
    Baking Soda, 1 tsp
    Salt, .5 tsp
    Vanilla Extract, 1.5 tsp
    King Arthor Flour - All -Natural Whole Wheat Flour, 1.75 cup
    Egg, fresh, 3 large
    Buttermilk, lowfat, .5 cup
    Chocolate chips, .5 cup


*Cream butter and Splenda, blend in asparagus, chocolate, vanilla.
*Combine flour with baking soda. Add alterantely with buttermilk to creamed mixture.
*Turn into 2, 8 inch cake pans and bake 350 for 35 minutes or tested done.
*Cool in pans for 10 minutes and remove to racks to cool.
*Fill and frost with a chocolate frosting.
*Can also make a sheet cake rather than 2 round cakes, use a Light Cool Whip icing if desired. Calories do not include icing.
