    1.3 lbs.Beef stew meat
    1 Onions (medium)
    2 Red Potatoes (medium)
    2 Carrots (medium)
    2 stalks Celery (medium)
    1 cup - Yellow Sweet Corn (Frozen)
    1 can - Diced Tomatoes w/juice
    2 Tbsp - Basil, dried
    2 Tbsp - Parsley, dried
    3 - Bay Leaves
    1.5 tsp - Corn Starch
    6 cups - Water
    4 Tbsp - Knorr Beef Bouillon
    1/3 cup - Barley, pearled


Cut and sear bite size cubes of meat in 2 Tbsp of canola oil on Med-High heat. Drain and absorb excess oil with paper towel. Cut vegetables into bite size pieces. Combine meat and all other ingredients, except barley, in a crock pot and cook on low heat for 5 hours. Add barley and continue cooking 1 hour more. Serve hot with cornbread muffins.
