    -1 pound, boneless skinless chicken breasts (thighs are good too)
    -1 red bell pepper, sliced
    -1 green pepper, sliced
    -1 large onion, sliced
    -1 can of mushrooms
    -1 can of diced tomatoes
    -1 clove of garlic, minced
    -1 tbsp sugar
    -1 tbsp paprika
    -1 tbsp parsley
    -1 tsp garlic powder
    -1 tsp oregano
    -1 tsp thyme
    -1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
    -salt and pepper

    1 pound shrimp, deveined and cleaned
    1 tbsp lemon juice
    hot sauce


Put all the ingedients up to the salt and pepper in the slow cooker. Cook on low for 8 hours. In the last hour of cooking, add shrimp, lemon and hot sauce.

Serve over brown rice (not included in calculation).
