Introduction

Was looking for something to eat with fish that would help fill me up. Craving pasta and spinach and this is what I came up with! Was looking for something to eat with fish that would help fill me up. Craving pasta and spinach and this is what I came up with!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    Whole Wheat Penne Pasta, 1 cup
    Frozen Spinach, 8 oz.
    Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
    Garlic, 4 cloves
    Dried Hot Pepper Flakes, .5 tsp
    Salt to taste (optional)

Directions

1. Cook pasta and frozen spinach in boiling water for 8-10 minutes or until pasta is al dente. Drain.
2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic (minced or I just use my garlic press) and hot pepper flakes. Saute for 5 minutes or until the garlic is golden. Add cooked pasta and spinach to the skillet and mix well. Season with salt (optional and not included in nutritional info) and toss before serving.

Makes 4 servings.
