Number of Servings: 15


    2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
    1/2 tsp Baking Soda
    2 tsp Baking Powder
    1/2 tsp Salt
    1/2 tsp Ginger
    1 tsp Cinnamon
    1/4 tsp Cloves
    4 Tbsp Shortening
    4 Tbsp Butter
    1 cup White Sugar
    2 Eggs
    1 cup Milk
    2 cups Sliced Peaches (OPT.)


Grease an 9x13 in pan and preheat oven to 350.
Cream butter, shortening, and sugar. beat in eggs.
Mix dry ingredients together in a separate bowl.
Add the milk and dry mixture alternately to the butter mixture.
If desired, chop and add 2 cups of peaches for a nice twist.
Pour into pan and bake for 30 minutes, of until a toothpick comes out clean.
