    1 Cup steel cut oats
    3 cups water
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 tsp nutmeg
    .25 cups dried apricots
    .25 cups dried cherries
    1.5 cups 1% milk
    .75 cups chopped almonds


In a pot bring water, oats, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla to a simmer. Simmer 20 minutes with lid on. Add dried fruit. Simmer another 10 minutes with lid on, stirring occasionally. For each serving add .25 cup milk and 2 Tbsp chopped almonds.
