Trying to put a heathier spin on a favorite! Trying to put a heathier spin on a favorite!
Number of Servings: 12


    2 cups whole wheat flour
    1/4 cup ground flax seeds
    1/4 cup granulated sugar
    2 scoops protein powder
    1 tablespoon baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 cup 1 % milk
    1 large egg
    5 tblsp olive oil (cause I was all out of vegetable oil!)
    1/2 cup cinnamon applesauce
    2 small bananas mashed
    1/2 cup chopped pecans


Combine all the dry ingredients and mix. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and begin adding the liquid ingredients. Add the bananas and nuts last. Mix well and pour into 12 prepared muffin cups. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 400.
