Introduction

Delicious banana bread with a cinnamon sugar coating. Delicious banana bread with a cinnamon sugar coating.
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    1/2 C sugar
    1 t cinnamon
    3/8 C margarine
    1-1/2 C sugar
    2 eggs
    3 bananas (very ripe)
    1 C sour cream
    2 t vanilla
    1 t cinnamon
    1/4 t salt
    1-1/2 t baking soda
    2-1/4 C flour

Directions

Combine 1/2 C sugar and 1 t cinnamon and set aside.

Cream together the sugar and butter. Add in bananas, sour cream, vanilla and cinnamon. Mix in salt, baking soda and flour (I used the lowest setting on the mixer so it wouldn't get too much air in it).

Grease 2 bread pans with butter and coat with the cinnamon and sugar mixture. Pour batter into pans. Sprinkle remaining mixture on top.

Bake at 325 for an hour. Makes 2 loaves. Total of 16 servings.
