    2 c oats
    1 1/4 c wheat flour
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    2 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp salt
    2 Tbs honey
    2 c milk, nonfat
    1/2 c Egg substitute
    3 Tbs canola oil (or olive oil)


Blend together all dry ingredients and blend together all wet ingredients. Mix the wet and dry ingredients just until they are combined. Laddle onto warm waffle maker. Cook according to your waffle maker directions.

Makes 12 - 4 1/2" square classic waffles.

I processed the oats just a little in the food processor so that they were not so chunky. You may need to add more flour or milk depending on the consistence you prefer.
