    Allspice, 1/4 tsp(remove)
    Sage, ground, 0.75 tbsp (remove)
    Pork Shoulder (pork butt, picnic roast), 48 oz (remove)
    Onions, raw, 2 medium (2-1/2" dia), chopped(remove)
    Water, tap, 12 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)
    Old Fashioned Quaker Oatmeal- Plain (1/2 cup dry), 2.25 serving (remove)
    salt, 2 tsp (remove)
    black pepper, 0.25 tsp (remove)

    Boil roast in water until tender. Remove meat and boil chopped onion in water until tender. Make sure to replace water lost in boiling. Grind meat and onions. Add back into liquid with seasoning, oatmeal and boil until done, about 15 minutes. Let cool slightly and put in parchment paper lined loaf pan. Let harden in refrigerator. Slice and fry in pan until done.


Make ahead and refrigerate or freeze. Fry before serving.
