The most delicious recipe for Italian Meatballs I have ever found. The most delicious recipe for Italian Meatballs I have ever found.
Number of Servings: 10


    2 slices Bread, whole wheat, cubed
    1/2 C fat free milk
    2 eggs
    1/4 c grated Parmesan cheese
    1 tsp dried parsley
    1/4 tsp dried oregano, crushed
    Dash of pepper
    1 lb ground beef
    Soak crumbled bread in milk.
    Beat eggs. Stir in Parmesan cheese, herbs, pepper. add soaked bread and milk. Stir together. Add ground beef and mix well. Use 1/4 C. measurer to scoop mixture to hands and form into ball. Place on cookie sheet with rack on top.


Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min. Then place meatballs into spaghetti sauce and simmer for 30 to 40 min. Serve with Italian bread and cooked whole wheat pasta.
