Ingredients

    2 cups wheat bran
    1 cup flour
    1 1/4 cups milk
    1/4 cup melted butter/margarine
    2 1/2 tsp baking powder
    1 egg
    2 tsp ground cinnamon

    additional apple pieces or raisins

Directions

-in a bowl mix bran and milk, let stand for 5 minutes
-add other ingredients and blend well
-if you like add apple or raisins
-divide into 10/11 portions and bake in muffin forms
-bake for about 30 minutes at 375°F/180°C
