Yummy and filling - perfect as a winter dessert or for brunch. Yummy and filling - perfect as a winter dessert or for brunch.
Number of Servings: 4


    1 cup Flour
    1 tsp Baking Powder
    1 medium Egg
    ½ cup Milk, nonfat
    ¼ cup Raisins

    1 cup Applesauce, unsweetened
    2 tsp Splenda (or other sugar substitute)


1. Sift flour and BP together
2. Whisk milk and egg together
3. Stir milk mix slowly into the flour mix (you can use more or less milk depending on how thick you like your pancakes). You may need to whisk it if there are lumps but do not beat it as the pancakes will be tough.
4. Add raisins

Spray a non- stick pan with cooking spray and heat on the stovetop. Cook pancakes until golden.

Serve with warmed applesauce that has been sweetened with Splenda.

Fresh berries
Add cinnamon
Sprinkle with toasted flaked almonds.
