Number of Servings: 12

1 lb of lean ground beef
    2.5 Schneider's Oktoberfest Sausage
    1 onion
2 large cans of Heinz Tomato Juice
    2 cans of Tomato Paste
1 large can of diced tomatoes
    salt & pepper to taste
    dried/fresh parsley

Chop up Onion and brown with ground beef in large pan. Remove skin from Oktoberfest sausage and add to ground beef mixing well.

Add tomato juice, tomato paste, diced tomatoes, spices and simmer for at least 4 hours. Skim any fat that is on the top of the sauce either by spoon or paper towel.

We freeze 2 servings in a margarine container which is plenty of sauce for the 2 of us. Yields approximately 7 margarine containers.
