    Ground Turkey, 4 oz, raw
    Canola Oil, .5 tbsp
    Sage, ground, 1 tsp
    Parsley, dried, 1 tsp
    Pepper, red or cayenne, .25 tsp
    Pepper, black, .25 tsp
    Salt, .25 tsp
    Whole Wheat Flour, 0.25 cup
    Milk, nonfat, 2.5 cup


Heat oil in cast iron frying pan. Add ground turkey and spices. Saute until well browned and crumbled. Add flour and mix well with whisk. Continue stirring with whisk until flour is browned and fragrant. Add milk slowly, stirring constantly, blending well. Stir with whisk until bubbling, then lower heat to simmer and continue stirring for 5 or 10 minutes until velvety smooth.
