    2/3 box Ronzoni Smart Pasta(R) thin spaghetti (9.6 oz)
    2 - 6.5-oz cans minced clams, drained (reserve liquid)
    8 oz. medium shrimp, raw, deveined, tail off
    1/2 medium onion, diced
    2 T minced garlic
    2 T olive oil
    2 T unsalted butter
    1/4 cup vermouth cooking wine
    2 T lemon juice
    1/4 cup reduced fat parmesan cheese
    garlic powder
    2 T cup chopped fresh parsely
    sea salt and fresh ground pepper to taste


Cook pasta according to package directions.

While pasta is cooking, add the olive oil and butter to a large nonstick saute pan over medium-high heat until butter is melted (do not allow butter to scorch). Add onion and garlic and saute until the onion begins to soften. Add clams and saute another two minutes or so. Add fresh lemon juice, vermouth, reserved clam juice, parsely, garlic powder, and salt and pepper. Stir to blend for about a minute; then add cornstarch mixed with 1 T cold water. Stir until thickened, then add shrimp (thawed). Cook until shrimp is cooked through. Just before serving, stir in parmesan cheese. Pour over pasta and stir to blend, or, alternatively, serve over pasta.
