This is what I eat for breakfast almost every day. It's quick, tasty, healthy and it keeps me going all morning. Ingredients

    Oats, 0.25 cup (remove)
    Milk, 1%, 0.25 cup (remove)
    Apples, fresh, 1 medium (2-3/4" dia) (approx 3 per l (remove)
    Cinnamon, ground, 0.25 tsp (remove)
    Yogurt, plain, low fat, 0.25 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)

Directions

Chop the apple (sometimes I substitute this for a pear or other piece of fruit) and add into a bowl. Mix oats, cinnamon, milk and 2 1/2 cups of water, bring mixture to a boil and let it cook for about 2 minutes or until it is nicely thickened. Let porridge cool slightly and then add yogurt and blend together. Then pour porridge mix over the chopped apple and enjoy.
