Introduction

Quick and easy to make...it is a family favorite. You can top this soup with a bit of grated cheddar cheese. Quick and easy to make...it is a family favorite. You can top this soup with a bit of grated cheddar cheese.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1/2 cup butter
    1/2 cup flour
    4 cups 1% milk
    1 sm. onion chopped
    2 med. cooked potatoes chopped
    2 bunches of broccoli chopped
    1 cup celery chopped
    1/2 tsp minced garlic
    pinch of black pepper
    1 box of Cambells Chicken broth

Directions

Melt 1/2 cup of butter and add 1/2 cup of flour in a large saucepan over medium heat.
When bubbling slowly add milk and using a wisk blend into flour/butter mixture. This will thicken milk slowy.
Cook, stiring occationally, until hot.
Add garlic, onions, celery and black pepper.
Cook until onions soften. Slowly add chicken broth, stir until blended and smooth.
Add broccolli and cooked potatoes and cook for 5 min.
Serves 12 -1 cup bowls of yummy soup.
