    3 cups sifted flour (measure after sifting!)
    3 teaspoons baking powder
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/4 cup sugar
    1 (12 ounce) can beer
    1/4 cup melted butter


Oven 375 degrees.
Mix all ingredients except butter.*
Pour into greased pan.
Pour butter over dough.
Bake about 1 hour
Cool on rack 15 min before slicing.
Makes 12 slices.

*If using non-alcoholic beer then add 1 pckt yeast)
