Introduction

The banana sweetens this beleive it or not but if you find the grapefruit juice too bitter add some honey or sugar substitute - allow for extra calories. I wanted to make something to give my immune system a kick start and chose fruits high in Vitamin C (237% RDA in this recipe). It's smooth and filling and surprised me with its taste and calorie content. Ingredients

    100ml of unsweetened grapefruit juice
    100ml of water
    1/2 a frozen small banana
    50gm frozen high antioxidant berry mix (creative gourmet)
    100gm frozen strawberries

Directions

Place all ingredients into your blender and blend on high for a couple of minutes. Makes a tall glass (250mls)
