Introduction
Finally, a lasagna recipe that is low in calories and fat! I took out alot of the cheese and grease, making it meal that I can enjoy guilt free. Works well for the picky eaters in my family and fits into the budget. Pair it up with a fresh steamed vegetable or salad and you have a perfect meal! Ingredients

Barilla Lasagna Noodles, uncooked (9)
Ground Beef, Extra Lean (1 lb)
Garlic (2 cloves)
Onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
Tomato Sauce (2-16 oz cans)
Cayenne Pepper (1/8 tsp)
Dried Basil (1 tsp)
Egg Beaters (1/4 cup)
Darigold Fat Free Cottage Cheese (16 oz)
Frigo Parmesan Cheese (1 oz)
Garlic Salt (optional)
Pepper (optional)
Directions
Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions.
Brown and drain ground beef. Add onion and garlic and cook until tender. Add tomato sauce, 1/2 tsp basil, cayenne pepper and salt and pepper if desired; heat until warm.
Combine cottage cheese, egg beaters and 1/2 tsp basil.
Spray 9 x 13 casserole dish with cooking spray. Make 3 layers of noodles, meat mixture, and cottage cheese mixture. Top with parmesan cheese.
Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for another 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
