    Dry Mixture:
    2 cups all-purpose flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp salt (optional)
    1 cup chocolate chips (calories are calculated for Hershey special dark chocolate chips)

    Moist Mixture:
    cup apple sauce
    3/4 cup Splenda
    cup egg beaters
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1 cup mashed bananas


For 12 muffins

Preheat oven to 350F. Prepare 12 large muffin cups.

Mix together dry ingredients.

Mix apple sauce, Splenda and sugar. Add egg beaters. Add mashed bananas and vanilla.

Add moist mixture to dry mixture all at once. Stir until batter is moist but still lumpy.

Fill muffin cups full. Bake 25 minutes.
