Introduction

This egg white omelet makes a perfectly balanced breakfast when served with a slice of whole wheat toast, 1/2 of a banana, and 1/2 cup of low fat, plain yogurt. Ingredients

    OMELET:
    3 Whole Egg Whites
    1/4 Cup 2% Shredded Cheddar Cheese
    1 oz. Deli Turkey Breast
    1 Tbs Salsa
    Salt & Pepper to taste
    Non Stick Cooking Spray

    OTHER:
    1/2 Banana
    1 Slice Whole Wheat Bread
    1/2 Cup Low-fat, Plain Yogut

Directions

Lightly brown turkey in medium pan coated with non-stick cooking spray. Remove from heat.

In separate non-stick pan lightly coated with cooking spray, pour in egg whites and top with meat, salsa, cheese, and salt & pepper. Cook over medium heat until firm enough to fold. Continue to cook approximately one minute on each side. Serve with 1 slice whole wheat bread, 1/2 banana, and 1/2 Cup plain, low-fat yogurt.
