Introduction

I love hummus but when you purchase it there is so much fat and it can be kind of expensive, so I made my own!! I love hummus but when you purchase it there is so much fat and it can be kind of expensive, so I made my own!!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 can of garbanzo beans, drained
    3 tsp. garlic paste
    1.5 tsp cumin
    .5 tsp onion powder
    .25 tsp salt substitute
    1/4 cup fat free greek yogurt
    1/4 cup lemon juice
    freshly ground black pepper

Directions

Place all ingredients in blender or food processor (I use my Ninja) and blend until creamy. Serve with pita chips or fresh veggies....I also like to dip steamed artichoke leaves into this...much healthier than garlic butter!
