Ingredients

    Pamana Lumpia Wrapper, 30 serving
    egg white, 1 each

    Ground Pork, 1 lb
    Shrimp, raw, 10 medium
    Onions, raw, 1/2 cup, shredded
    Carrots, raw, 1/2 cup, shredded
    Celery, raw, 1/2 cup, shredded
    Yam-bean (jicama), 1/2 cup shredded
    Green Onions, 5 each

    to taste
    Salt, 1 tsp
    Pepper, black, 1 tbsp

    Cooking
    Canola Oil, 1 cup

Directions

Mix Preparation
In food processor place the onions, carrots, celery, jicama into processor and blend until fine put to side.
Next place the ground pork and shrimp (de-veined) blend together.
Next take the meat and vegetable and combine in a large mixing bowl. Mix well.

Roll
Place 1 egg white into small bowl.
Take 1 Lumpia Wrapper and place flat with one corner pointing toward you. Scoop 1 teaspoon of mix and place it close to the corner nearest you. Fold corner over mix and gently press mix until a thin line is formed (about the size of your middle finger).
Dip finger into egg white and run finger along outside of wrapper.
Fold each end into center.
Finely roll.
Repeat unit all mix is rolled about 30 pieces.

To Cook
Heat up 1 cup of Canola Oil. (Or any oil you want to use)
Place 3-4 pieces in and cook for 10-15 min.
Deep fry until golden brown
Serve hot with sweet chili dip.

    Lumpia is a favorite in my household! I add in cabbage for an extra veggie, making it more of an eggroll. To create a healthier version, I skip the deep fry and just eat the filling in a bowl. It still tastes great! - 2/21/11

    Ive been making lumpia since the fourth grade its as easy as pie ~ thaaanx tho didnt realize they where so low in calories and yes I add cabbage also ~ I like to make huge batches and freeze umm - 2/25/11
