    3 Lb turkey drumsticks
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp honey
    1 Tbsp cider vinegar
    1 tsp ginger
    salt, to taste
    pepper, to taste
    1 C chicken broth
    1 LB sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes
    1/2 C dried cranberries
    2 Tbsp whole wheat flour


Combine turkey, onion, honey, vinegar, ginger, and broth into a 6 qt crockpot.

Cover and cook on low for 5 hours. Add potatoes and cranberries. Cook another 45 minutes or longer until the potatoes are tender.

Remove turkey and pull meat from the bone. Pour 1/4 of the liquid from cooker into a pot and whisk flour until smooth. Slowly whisk in remaining liquid. Toss meat, potatoes, and cranberries with gravey and reheat if necessary.
