Introduction

Ingredients

    1/4 cup uncooked Quaker oatmeal (plain)
    1 medium ripe banana, sliced
    1 cup spinach or kale
    3/4 cup green tea
    1/2 cup plain or vanilla yogurt
    2 tbsp honey
    1/2 cup chopped raw carrots
    ice cubes (optional)

Directions

Put oatmeal in a blender, and blend until powdery, or at least less chunky. Add the green tea, yogurt, and honey, and blend until smooth. Add in the banana, spinach, and carrots. Blend until foamy, (or add ice cubes until desired consistency) then pour into 4 glasses.

    Wow! Totally looove this smoothie! Really easy to make, and you can't even taste the veggies! I used peach yogurt to improve taste, but I'm sure it would be okay with just vanilla. I also only used 1 tbsp of honey. - 2/27/11
