Introduction

The original recipe is made with oranges. I had clementines. You don't even peel them. And the frosting is great.
Very easy and tasty. Try eating only one !!
The batter and icning freeze well, i prepare batches in advance and bake them when i feel like it.

Ingredients

    Cookies:
    1 1/2 cup flour
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    salt
    1/2 cup soften butter
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/2 brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 orange or 3 clementines chopped *** not peeled ***
    1/2 cup walnuts or pecans chopped
    Frosting:
    1 cup icing sugar
    1 to 2 tsp orange or clementine juice
    1 tsp butter
    1 tsp of clementine or orange zest

Directions

Cookies:
Blend together the flour, baking soda and salt. In another bowl, blend together the butter, sugars, egg and chopped clementines. Mix well. Incorporate the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Mix in the nuts. Put in the freezer for at least one hour.
Preheat the stove to 375. Put for each cookie about 1 tsp of dough. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Cool to frost.
Frosting:
Mix all together, spread on each cookie and serve.
