Introduction

Ingredients

    5 oz. of ground beef
    3 oz of ground italian sausage
    7.5 oz jar of Prego Healthy Heart Spagehetti sauce
    2 c. mozarella cheese
    12 oz. container of cottage cheese
    1 egg
    1/4 c. grated parmesan cheese
    6 no cook noodles
    dash of basil
    dash of parsley flakes
    dash of italian seasoning


Directions

Brown the beef and pork together and drain grease. Add spagehetti sauce and heat through. Beat egg and add cottage cheese and parmesan cheese. Add seasonings. Set aside.

Spread 1/4 c. meat sauce on bottom of 9 x 12 baking dish. Layer 3 non-boil noodles width wise across. Spread 2/3 c. of cottage cheese mixture. Spread 1/2 of remaining meatsauce. Sprinkle 1 cup of mozarella cheese. Repeat noodles, cottage cheese, meat sauce, and top with mozarella cheese. Cover and bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Uncover and continue to cook for an additional 10 minutes. Let it stand 5 minutes before serving.
