Introduction

I think I've finally duplicated a Sanfransico favorite of mine ~ the oatmeal pucks found in many coffee houses. These are very mild but satisfying! Just wish I could lover the carbs;) I think I've finally duplicated a Sanfransico favorite of mine ~ the oatmeal pucks found in many coffee houses. These are very mild but satisfying! Just wish I could lover the carbs;)
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    3.5 cups oats
    .25 cup butter
    .33 cup brown sugar
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp baking powder
    .5 cup lowfat milk

Directions

Pulse all in a food processor except milk . Slowing add milk. Scoop out and roll into a log over 1-2 tablespoons additional oats. Cut into 10 pucks. Bake for 10 min. on greesed cookie sheet at 350 degrees. Enjoy for breakfast or filling snack.

Makes 10 pucks.
